The Regional Bar Association of Bejaia was established by a decree issued by the Minister of Justice on July 12, 2009.
The total number of practicing lawyers in the association is 1153 lawyers distributed as follows:
- Bejaia Court of Appeal: 608 lawyers.
- Amizour Court: 38 lawyers, Branch in El Kseur: 91 lawyers.
- Sidi Aich Court: 82 lawyers.
- Akbou Court: 214 lawyers, Branch in Tazmalt: 31 lawyers.
- Kherrata Court: 89 lawyers.
Among them, there are also 326 lawyers approved to the Supreme Court.
And among them, 1353 lawyers are practicing.
